Did CAFE get in Walmart's head?

What bothers me most is their inventory system online! Before I recently made a 2 hour drive from home to cross the border into Niagara Falls NY, I checked the Walmart website and it told me that one store had 6 jugs of VRP 0w20 in stock and when I got there they had none, so I had to get 5w20 that time. And on another occasion I checked before going and it said that the other Walmart there finally had VRP in stock (my usual location that’s closer to the border but has not had VRP at all) but when I got there they had none and the employee working in the area checked and said they didn’t carry it at all in their store 😡 So that day I had to pay closer to $40 to get VRP from Autozone so that it wasn’t a wasted trip for me.

Now you can see why I’m anxious for VRP to be sold in Canada! 🤔
I know what you are describe does happen at lots of WalMarts brick and mortor stores and online.
A buddy of mine who I spend a good deal of time with each week and go shopping with often has noticed something he mentioned.

We have at least (5) full size WalMarts and even (1) of the WalMart Grocery stores all within an easy 20 minute drive from our houses. He pointed out to me the vast difference in the products (all sorts) that the stores each seem to stock (or not) in the different location stores.

My local Walmart in the northern metro Detroit area has had almost no M1 for months now but looks like it can be order for pickup online and appears available. Always visit the shelf to see if there are any deals so monitoring the situation. Will stock up as needed if the price drops or just buy when an oil change is required.

Using FS Euro ESP 0W30 and 0W40 plus FS 15W50 in my motorcycle when summer arrives.
