IMO, if the current 9-3 just had a smaller, less ghastly steering wheel, it'd be perfect for what it is.

...at least with a manual transmission. :]

I am an empty nester and enjoy our 01 Ody. Can't be beat for versatility. 4x8's, people, you name it. Fun to drive, reliable. Honda replaced the transmission at 90,000 miles under their extended warranty. No other issues. Now at 119,000. Last vacation down to SC got 24 mpg (down and back & local driving down there) overall with 4 adults on board. I'd like to have a new one with the 5 spd and all disc brakes, but can't justify it. Figure this one will last quite a bit longer. If they came out with a diesel I'd be tempted, but looks like that is delayed now.
