This is either legit or a very well done hoax, http://www.diamondpetrecall.com/

Ran this through both Hoaxbusters and Urban Legends. Neither confirmed or denied it. It seems to me I have seen some good comments on Diamond. One advantage of Pro Plan, I am sure a recall would be big news.

Of coarse I use Diamond Food and have been very happy with it. As of now, I don't have my left over bag as I transferr it to a different container.

I guess I'll dump the rest of the stuff and go find something new and fresh.

Any suggestions?

This is unfortunately very true. There was mold in the food with has killed at least 23 dogs. It was in my local paper about 2 weeks ago. I can tell you this I would be suing for millions if my dog died from their product.

I am not sure I would dump Diamond over one bad batch. Just check the next few bags against the date on the website.

Eats only fresh food.

It's weird that suddenly this Diamond pet food thing hits the air and web big time today???? Aflatoxin! Yikes.

One of my Chinese girlfriends had a dog like that. It kinda creeped me out.

There is nothing alive in any of the bag dog foods on the market. In fact the only nutrients in them are added because the base was the sickest or dead animals rendered into a sludge and then cooked at high heat until it became meal. Absolutely nothing good in it.

If you don't want your dog to die of human problems or get sick feed them raw meat. Yep, raw meat. They do exceptionally well and non of the old wives tails about making a dog "wild or crazy" are true. My current sheppard has never been sick.
