Denny has Chastain solidly in his crosshairs now. Denny's veiled threat that "things always work out in the end" is not only true, it's justified.
As Jeff Burton said on today's telecast, Chastain will never win a championship driving like this, no matter how fast his car is. Other drivers will see to it he doesn't finish.
Although quick at times, Chastain is a ham fisted driver with absolutely zero finesse. He'd kill someone if he raced in IndyCar.

Chastain is up front every week. He's fast. I noticed he was running up front a lot last year, and thought he was ready to start winning. (Suarez, too.)
People complained that Dale Earnhardt was too aggressive when he started in Winston Cup. People warned Richard Childress not to hire him because he'd wreck every car Richard had.
That situation worked out fairly well.
Ross just needs to back it down 1% and give another foot of room on the racetrack.
