When I first saw the pictures yesterday with the plane upside down and missing wings, I thought it hit something while already on the ground and going much slower than the landing speed. It lost the undercarriage and flipped.
But the airplane slammed really hard into the runway while landing. It’s a miracle everyone on this plane survived.
I think the wind speeds were quite high, but not dangerously high. I wonder what caused this. Visibility doesn’t appear to be bad either.
