Delo 400 and A3 Rating...

According to the technician I spoke with at Chevron...

The Good News-
Delo 400 "CI-4" was A3 rated.

The Bad News-
Delo 400 "CI-4 Plus" has not been tested for A3 compliance and at this time there is no plan to have it tested.

I second that.

In fact this same topic was posted in the main board and was promptly shut-down.

Reason stated "it was a waste of bandwidth."

To complete that string since I hate being silenced.

I made it it Wal-Mart that nite and confirmed the A3 badging.

Luckily I did not see any one buying Castrol Sham-Tec or Orange Fram doom filters.

Both the 1 qt 15w40 and 1 gallon jugs of Delo were A3 rated.
