As I first mentioned in a separate post, that in my humble opinion, other than the "bonus" mentioned in the video, it seems to be a pretty solid filter. I think, from several other C&P posts on here over the years, there is some improvements. The pleating looks much better than in the past. The couple wide pleats he mentioned at the end of the video; I think that many, if not most, filters have that. These are on the lower end of filter price points too, as well. I would, again, humbly in my opinion, say this is a decent filter for the price you are paying.

It's kind of like disgruntled auto union workers hanging empty beer cans inside doors at the car factory, lol.

The big wide pleats at the seam are a media tear waiting to happen. Some of that sloppy black glue waiting to come off in use.

Yeah, that pleat spacing is nothing to write home about and would probably have been a failure point without the extra parts in it.

Been a 10+ years since I ran a Motorcraft FL-820 when I had a Crown Vic, they were iffy in terms of quality back then.

Beat me to posting this! Wild how motorcraft has been putting out junk like this for so long on what could very likely be one of their best selling filters.

I’ve personally had the media rip on an 820s and stopped using them after that. Doesn’t seem like they’ve tried improving it at all. That wide pleat spacing is exactly where mine was ripped.
