Deer hunting starts soon

The missouri rifle season just ended and I am still without a deer. I will admit I was trophy hunting this year though let quite a few does walk past me and seen one really nice buck I couldnt get a clean shot at. The good news is I had a great time being out there. I use a remington model 700 in .270 winchester. Has consistently brought them down at long range and I just love the action on the 700s. Muzzleloader season starts december 17 so I may have another chance still.

I've killed three with the rifle, an eight point and two does. Within the last three weeks I've also hit two with the truck a nice buck and a doe.
