My wife's Charge 6 wouldn't come to life after complete battery drain and wouldn't start charging from wall charger. I connected it to battery pack instead and it charged and is back to life.

The Oura Ring does not measure glucose. You have to wear a Dexcom Patch, the Patch transmits to the Oura app on your phone. Meaning the ring itself has nothing to do with monitoring your blood glucose. In reality that is how the Dexcom Patch works with its own app or the Dexcom watch. As of right now there is no way to test blood glucose without being in contact with pins or needles sticking your body. I believe the patch is one stick and then a piece the sensor under your skin. Funny this came up.
Now on the road to recovery from my treatments, it's time to get back to getting myself in shape. Some years back my Advantage plus plan paid for a blood glucose meter/kit and for the first time yesterday started pricking my skin for blood.
As far as the Ring itself I dont know much about it but I have a niece who carries MANY certifications in the health/lifestyle area. IN person and online coaching as well. She is very intelligent. She has the ring, however I never had a direct conversation with her about it.
