OVERKILL: expanding on this; could water be a primary cooling and possible water/sodium concentrate be used as alternate/backup or….?

Doubtful that this would be viable as the added complexity would probably kill it. More likely would be the use of passive sinks to earth or air for passive cooling in the event of primary cooling failure.
