The only fluid change I have someone else do is brake fluid. I've never had good luck with those bleeder kits and I don't like dealing with brake fluid since it's nasty stuff. Paying my indy $60 every 3 or so years to do it is worth it to me.

Dealerships pull that kind of shenanigans all of the time on people when they bring their car in for anything. You're just seeing it in print.
I like doing easy maintenance things on my cars. Thinking of spending $130 on something I can do for $10 makes me sick to my stomach.

Back when I worked at Tire Kingdom, our P/S flush worked like this:
A machine would vacuum fluid out the reservoir the same way a turkey baster could. Fluid for flushing would get pumped in and pumped out. We were always given 2 quarts of the stuff. Next, we pumped in synthetic power steering fluid, pumped it out, and pumped it back in, 2 quarts of synthetic fluid.
So if it gets expensive, it makes sense.
Still, I would much rather just suction out old power steering fluid and put in new power steering fluid if it was my car.
