I've been running an oversized Purolator PureOne PL30001 on my 1.8T for the last 12K. But I've always wondered whether this extra oil and large filter could cause any funny pressure anomalies or tax the pump. I know some people say this is no problem. I haven't noticed any problems, then again I don't have an oil pressure gauge (yet)
VW should include more gauges on a car like this. At least make the info available on the little MFA computer....how much trouble would that be?
