I`m thinking of buying a CZ 97B in .45ACP, anyone on here own one? how good are they compared to 1911A1? I already own a 1911A1 but would like to add another toy to my collection.

Insanely accurate, low recoil, ergonomic, but not overly reliable.

I know the CZ 75B in 9mm is a first rate and very reliable firearm. Not much experience with teh 97B though.
For a .45, I wouldn't part with my S&W M&P. It is the most comfortable .45 I have ever had, points naturally, and is very reliable. Cheap too.

S&W hit a home run with this one. Seriously considering selling my only used once Sig P229, buying another MP in 9mm and spending the rest on ammo.

I had one of the early P229 and cracked the frame. Sig was good and replaced it right away. Then less than 1k rounds later the new one cracked its frame. Sig again replaced it with their improved frame and once I received it, I sold it.
Replaced it with a Glock 22. Now all I own in poly framed guns is the M&P and Ruger P345. (sold all my Glocks (which I had a few)
Love my M&Ps in *any* caliber. The 9mm (I only have the full size) is a real shooter. I'm looking at getting a 9C in the next few months. (and make sure I get at least 4 more mags before Jan just in case)
