The main reason why aftermarket CVs suck is they all seem to use neoprene boots. All OEs use thermoplastic now which lasts way longer.

I think I'm going to get new tires and get them all balanced. I have had these tires for 4 years, 40,000 miles, but they have dry rotted. Seems premature for Goodyear Assurance dated 2nd week of 2020, driven daily, in Philadelphia, PA.

If your vibration started right when you replaced your axle, new tires aren’t going to fix it.

I spend a decent amount of time in Philly for work and don’t think ive ever had a rental with 4 matching tires regardless of age of the car. That city will knock your fillings out. I’d go for a front wheel balance some where and go from there.
