CVKey.net cv axles. Anyone heard of this brand? I saw one for sale on Ebay and visited the website. I assume their crap, but maybe not?
What vehicle are you considering replacing one in ?CVKey.net cv axles. Anyone heard of this brand? I saw one for sale on Ebay and visited the website. I assume their crap, but maybe not?
Although the aftermarket boots have a short life, make sure all of your engine mounts are in good condition. Failed engine mounts will cause a lot of drivetrain movement. Not sure why these boots keep tearing.
OEM or Raxles.2008 Honda Civic LX automatic transmission 4 door sedan. My passenger cv axle has a torn outer boot. Unfortunately it's a cheap aftermarket axle and didn't last long. Not sure why these boots keep tearing. I'm now learning that I probably should have kept the OEM and put a new boot on it.
No, just buy a new one.Do you guys think 15 year old used OEM Honda axles are worth the $75? I've seen a few, just wondering if I should pay $200 for a new one instead. If you think it's worth $75 to get an old used one, I'll do that. Thanks
The Duralast Gold axles in my region have been GSP. Slightly more expensive, but easier warranty.I've had good luck with the GSP brand on my V6 Honda's. Seem to run just fine. Would have to check my logs to see what kind of mileage I have on them.
40,000 on the Accord drivers side and only about 15k on the Acura, but both have been good to go.
They're lifetime warranty, so just keep swapping them?My GSP axles felt fine, but the outer boots tore in less than 3 years

I ended up getting a honda axle at a junk yard. Looked great. $50 bucks. But after installing, my car shakes like crazy at high speeds on the highway. Not sure what could have been wrong with the axle, as I assume it's the reason my car is shaking so much.^ Or at a local junkyard and avoid the high postage rate. Honda Civics are fairly popular vehicles...

And the story gets deeper.I ended up getting a honda axle at a junk yard. Looked great. $50 bucks. But after installing, my car shakes like crazy at high speeds on the highway. Not sure what could have been wrong with the axle, as I assume it's the reason my car is shaking so much.
There is a tire forum here on Bitog.I think I'm going to get new tires and get them all balanced. I have had these tires for 4 years, 40,000 miles, but they have dry rotted. Seems premature for Goodyear Assurance dated 2nd week of 2020, driven daily, in Philadelphia, PA.
