I am looking to pack the CV joints on my 2001 Ford Focus that I take to track days. The joint on the car are ridiculously overbuilt so even the cheap parts store imports work just fine. The problem is, after a few events, the grease turns to one part gold liquid, two parts swamp muck.

I have a couple of tubes of AMSOIL Series 2000 that I love to use on ball joints; would that work? I just would like something that will take the abuse.

I did a search and waded through a couple of threads in which people were screaming at each other in regards to some old Toyota. By starting a new thread, I was hoping that I could get a straight answer without the rancor.

Thanks,

MB CV axles run oil, not grease. Works great and they are half-million mile joints if the rubber doesnt rot.

or NEO HPCC CV joint grease.

I used to use their CV25 grease that was originally developed for March/Benneton F1 back in the eighties.

Good stuff.

Now, ask him to sit down before you tell him the price of this stuff!!

But YES, it is probably the best product on the market, but way overkill for most (kind of like the Castrol SRF brake fluid of CV joint greases
