Are these made in Germany? Looks like a synthetic blend type media. High quality all around. I'm guessing these go for ~12 to 15$...?
Thanks for posting.

EDIT: This was for an 04 Neon, but it blew up. We were lucky it made it past the 3 year life expectancy. :P

Made in Austria.

I got them from rockauto. I dont remember what I paid, so I looked it up just now and they are $3.63

not sure on what the media is, I assume just cellulose.

Exactly my thought.
Some of the Champion lab and Purolators seem to have been assembled by drunks ....with all the waviness.
It probably doesn't affect filtration but it makes me wonder about QC..

Nicely constructed filter. Wonder what the efficiency rating is on these filters?

Impressive looking filter regardless.

I think the black circle under the spring in the first pick is the dome end bypass.

You are right, good eye! After I watched the Mahle video in the other thread it became clear, I missed it here.

Where did you buy Mahle filter ? Online or local B&M ?

I'm looking for Mahle OC330 for my S2000, it's about 3/4" longer than OEM 15400-PCX004, but nowhere to be found.
