The actual "Costa" behind Costa has a handle here.... @CostaKapo IIRC, there is one other recent thread discussion about the filter. I bought a case too, very happy with the purchase. though i haven't used it yet cuz I'm a hoarder, lmao. just the density of the shipping box gave me the impression that it's quality.

Thanks for cutting it open. Makes me fell better about the same case of Costa filters I recently bought. Inside of the can also looks like it has a protective fog spray coating for storage.

given how most quick lube locations are exposed to the summer elements 100% of the time and some sizes can sit for a long time, I'd like to think that someone/somewhere said let's spend an extra $0.11 to have a protective coating. I hope that's true, as I always enjoy seeing a product that goes the extra mile for a feature that 95% of people won't notice.
