Okay, okay. I have gone nuts like some of you. I now have a desire to cut open filters.
So what are the best tool recomendations for someone who wants a quick and easy way for less than say 50.00?

Yea, the hacksaw is bad about that if your trying to look at what is actualy filtered by the filter, not what gets in from cutting it open.quote:

I've got one from Summit. Looks the same and cost about the same. Does a good job.
