Check out the husqvarna. You can get a Kawasaki motor and either a hydro gear g730 or the tuff torq k66.
Kinda in between a John Deere x300 and x500 for the price of a x300.
Right, but the HG G730 is only offered on the most expensive Cub 1000 series.
If you're also referring to the Cub 2K series, that's a whole other animal with an MTD/Cub built cast iron rear axle/differential, driven by a hydrogear BDU drive. Those hold 6qts of oil.
