Crocs & socks

Crocs are my "back yard" and going to the (detached) garage shoes. It's true that they are slippery on wet concrete, particularly when the sole wears out and the concrete is smooth.

Who are we trying to impress? It’s not like I’m wearing sweat pants in public nor do I wear them to a fancy restaurant.
I was just being a jerk.
Please disregard.
I have a bad habit of staying up late and saying stupid stuff.
Wear whatever you like I don't judge😎

Button ups, t-shirts, jeans khakis, tailored shorts, gym shorts, tanks, suits, regular stuff.
No cutoffs and no crocs✋🛑🚫

I like how you threw the suit in there to prove a point. I mean really… we are talking casual wear. (The thread is about crocs.) Do you wear a suit to the grocery store or whilst taking care of your property?

Gym shorts are basically croc material btw.

So bottom line is almost no one on BITOG admits to wearing Crocs. And of those that do no one has a problem with heels in socks wearing out or they don't wear socks with Crocs.
My daughter bought herself a pair of Crocs a few years ago, to knock around the house with. I said to her, " so, where are MY pair ? " Few days later, my pair arrived. I wear them with or without socks to chuck the trash, get the mail, or a quick drive in the car when picking up meds in the Pharmacy

I wear Crocs mostly. Some lined and some regular. I buy a lot of Bomba socks.

If I wear Bomba socks with Crocs (lined or regular) the sock heels always wear out.

The socks are fine with shoes.

I bought some Crocs about 3 years ago in Caribbean because the shoes I had were tight and had a blister starting. I have basically not taken them off. I have several pairs.

Am I the only one with this issue.
Never had any socks wear out with my Crocs. I wear lined/reg Crocs all year and have never worn out any socks yet with them. I just buy cheap socks at Walmarts

Dudes wearing Crocs is sort of like reaching the point in life where you stop sucking in your gut when you happen upon a pretty girl, LOL.
Yes, I've reached that point in my life. I know enough that they're not looking at me at my age anyway, so why bother. 60 is less than a year away:(.

I still get dressed to take out the garbage but I'm an unbalanced mental case so it's part of the routine 😬
