I searched and didn't find anything on the CRC stuff, so i'm asking. We sell Mag 1 and CRC oil crank case flushes for about $3-4. The mag flush is just Kerosense. the CRC has multiple petroleum distiliants such as Xylene, and other type things. Has anyone used it? i'm debating using it next oil change.

CRC's on par w/ things like B-12 and probably a little harsher than Seafoam. It scares me that they want you to throw the whole can in!

Use the whole can? Wow. I was thinking 1/2 can. the Directions say to warm the engine up to operating temp. Any reason to do it on a cold engine vs a warm engine?

Viscosity thinning! Hot oil is thin. Kerosene is going to thin it out some more. This isn't much of an issue with cold oil.
I wouldn't use it on a warm engine!

good point. but yet at cold temps oil is rated "10", and at 212F it's "30" weight... but somehow thinner than the 10. lol. Ok, i'll do it on a cold engine. or maybe I'll run it for 1-2 minutes and then throw it in. which is still considered a cold engine.

Use the whole can.
And, any solvent flush, should be used on a cold engine, with no load, driving, or revving, for no more then 5-10 minutes, with an oil/filter change immediately after.
