Can someone cross ref a Craftsman oil filter # 751-11501 to a WIX or similar filter? I used to work for a NAPA store some years ago but this is eluding me. Also does any one know who makes the Craftsman 420CC OHV engine. Any guidance would be appreciated.

+1

If you are a bit tight on space use the Wix 51348 (Napa Gold 1348) filter.

Made in China. Used on a lot of MTD stuff like Husky, Yard Machines Troy-Bilt and Craftsman.

Made by Chonda....lol...the only ones that i have seen with pressure lube and an oil filter are generac which i am pressure sure is briggs owned...

Generac is a public company, independent of Briggs and Stratton. As info, I don't bother with Generac branded filters---they're overpriced. I use Baldwin and Wix for oil, Napa for air.

If you still need it, the Baldwin and Hastings web sites have excellent filter cross reference tools. And www.zorotools.com usually carries one brand or the other for many apps, and they only charge $5.00 for shipping.
