What vertical pumps do y’all recommend? Used it today and isn’t getting very good pressure coming out. This unit is about 9 years old and doesn’t get used very often. I do use the spray pump oil every year. Thanks.

Could be the unloader valve. They tend to stick and the result is low pressure.
I don't have a good suggestion as axial pumps are often very low quality. Chose a name brand, and don't choose the cheapest pump.

There are lots of reasons for weak output. A clogged tip can even be the problem.
One thing im noticing the engine isn’t changing much load when I hit the trigger. It starts and runs fine at idle since I changed the carb recently.
I recently ordered a new hose, gun with tips. Both the old setup and new setup seems to be doing the same thing. It actually ran better with the new setup. It does take a little while for the air to get out of the system.
You more that likely need a new pump. I have a 18 year old pressure washer that I had to replace the pump after 10 years just from normal wear. I just purchased a new pressure washer because the Briggs engine lost most of its compression became hard to start.
