2022 Elantra. Hit curb and pretty good bump, had to replace tire. Noticed the washer fluid needed to be refilled. Was due
for oil change at dealer and they said it was cracked reservoir and was $800 to fix. I can't do it, so was trying to think of something
I could put in the reservoir that could seal it...hoping the crack is in bottom.

I stupidly volunteered to replace the wiper fluid reservoir on my wife’s friend’s Nissan Murano. Literally had to remove the front passenger tire and wheel well liner, bumper and grill. It was a nightmare. It seems they designed it to fill any nook and cranny the was left available in the passenger fender well.

There's new and used on ebay starting at $55

This one claims OEM at $45 shipped, but the seller only has 5 fb.

I'd source the part and ask an indy. It may require a good bit of labor, but $800 is out of hand. All modern reservoirs are crammed down in a front corner. I've done Focii, Aveos, CRVs, Subarus and more. All the same concept.

edit: I'm also not positive on the part #. Verify before spending your money!!!

I ordered one for my son's Forte from Rock Auto, very inexpensive. Yes fender liner had to come off and maybe even front bumper....sooooo......that equaled I think 6 bolt/screws and about a dozen plastic clips. There is really nothing holding the bumper cover on in the newer cars.

A little time, some spare clips to replace the ones that break and fixed.

Agreed. I'm always amazed at how modern vehicles -- especially passenger cars -- snap together like Legos.

Somehow, it works, but if you saw any single joint on its own you'd think it will never hold together.
