COVERCRAFT Custom WeatherShield HP Car Cover

Has anyone had experience with the above mentioned car cover. 2 questions will this cover prevent rain from seeping through to paint. Also how bad would corrosion get to underneath car, Car would be parked on blacktop in NJ all year round. I have an evolution Block it car cover that I had on my car for about a month while I was having some construction on house done and water seemed to get through. Thinking of picking up a collector car but dont have any more garage space

Afaik,all car covers are designed to "breathe" and therefore aren't waterproof.

They coat it with a hydrophobic coating (spray or whatever). It keeps water out well for a year.
I've never been able to restore the coating to as good as new after that.
I don't get much rain though, mostly I'm concerned with sun and dust. Dust seems to kill hydrophobic properties of any spray.
