Well, I still have 2 cases of Motul E-Tech 0w40(had several 5ltr jugs of the discontinued Motul 6100 Synergie 5w40, all gone)..but thanks to my growing stash of GC, that oil won't pass thru any oil galleys of my engines anytime soon.

GC is a *** gift to man. Let's not move. Let's stop to appreciate. Let's celebrate this great gift. Hooray for GC and the elves that produce it. Now, a moment of silence.quote:

I doubt that, I've got a $10 digital watch I bought from Walmart and it gains 2 seconds per day!quote:

Well, taking this one to the n-th degree off topic, here's how to tell for sure. Call 202-762-1401. You'll here a goofy male computer voice reading out the time kept by the U.S. Naval Observatory Master Atomic Clock. BTW, it's been the same goofy voice for about 20 years (maybe longer). This is the number I'd call when preparing to fly a mission requiring that ordnance be not only on-target, but on-time. Usual standard: +/- six seconds. I guess I'm certifiably OCD, but I still take perverse pleasure in watching the news start at exactly the moment the second hand on my watch hits the straight up position. . .quote:

Actually, I own four variants of the radio-sync clock myself (travel version is about two feet from me as I type this). Sometimes it's just more fun to hear it from goofy computer dude himself.quote:

Is the signal too weak on the right coast?
And despite its gawd-awful thirst, I still love my G35. But the GC does so well for me, why on earth would I consider some other oil that costs roughly 10x as much?!? Don't bother with that phone call, unless you want to do it purely for amusement purposes. It will end with something like, "well, Sir, if you have to ask, you can't afford this oil. . ."quote:

ekpolk, I'm beginning to agree with you on that one. I'm almost afraid to call up a dealer that carries it and ask for the extortionist pricing that they probably will have on it. I love my Honda, but not THAT much!!! I draw the line at $11 per liter!![]()

Rolex's "Perpetual" watch movements (automatic winding mechanical movements) are tested by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) and must meet an accuracy standard of -4 to +6 seconds per day (over the course of 15 days) in order to be labeled "Chronometer." So your $10 quartz watch from Wal-Mart is "technically" within COSC standards and could surpass the accuracy of a Rolex. However...quote:
