It is 912 days if you start 9/11/01 as 0 day and count to (and include) 3/11/04. You could fudge it and say "between" the dates (not including either date) 9/11/01 and 3/11/04 there is 911 days.
If you wanted to fudge it another way you could say the start time is when first plane hit the WTC at 8:46 am which leaves 15 hrs. 14 min left until it is Sept 12. Then count full days till 3/10/04. Now start with hours again up until 7:39 am on 3/11/04, which would be 7 hrs 39 min for 3/11/04 which would be the stop time. For a grand total of 911 days 22hrs. 53 min. .. But now I feel like an astrologer and things are getting a little loopy.
