Correct adhesive for window clips

I have a broken window clip - the small u-shaped clips that are adhered to the bottom of the side window glass and then attach to the bracket the regulator moves up and down.

I see cases googling where many fail. I was tempted to use 3m 5200 marine adhesive. If something less exotic like JB weld would work, I'd be satisfied with that. Any experience here?

I thought I would update this thread with a really good substitute I found for the pricier channel bonding adhesive. I know it's the preferred thing, but at $30 to use a small dab of it and then throw it away, I wasn't too excited. As an alternative, this may help someone else some day. I went ahead and used the 5200 I originally mentioned and it worked great.

For $8 delivered it was a good deal. I had occasion to open the door panel again today and I checked the cured adhesion. It was tenacious, and flexible. It is a one-part urethane vs. a two part like the channel bond, but about equivalent. It was slightly less flexible than the factory adhesive on the other original clips, so the slightly weaker but more flexible 3M 4200 might be an even better match.

I boat/sail so I knew about this stuff, it's very widely used in the marine industry and highly respected. The other bonus is that if you don't want to wait for it, it is hanging on the shelf in all Ace Hardwares and many other places. It will cure and go bad once opened - just like the channel bond - but you can put it in a baggie and stick it in the freezer, and it will keep for a long while.

I had to do something similar on my 2000 Mustang, and I used silicone adhesive. Someone had done them in epoxy at some time, so it turned out to be a PITA for me scraping it out with a screwdriver when their repair failed. My repair has been holding up for about a year, so we'll see how it goes.
