How many made some for St. Patricks day? Man, so frikkin tasty and I cooked an extra hunk of corned beef and made home made hash - added in some onion and bell pepper as well to the mix. With an egg over easy on top, likely one of the tastiest breakfasts I've had in years.

Awesome - I cooked the same. Two nice hunks (really tender), cabbage, taters, carrots, onions, rutabagas, turnips. I'm sorry but I love parsnips, too! Lots of parnips.
I like it with horseradish and chipotle mustard!

Next year I think I'm gonna go vegetable crazy and add in some more root veggies - maybe even some leeks and fennel. I like parsnips as well.

I like corned beef, but I don't think they eat it in Ireland very often.

as usual, its an american thing. they'd probably have potatoes and mutton cooked over bog. Try to find green beer on the island.

I'd go to Ireland just for the mutton. Make sure they leave the fat on it.
They eat a lot of pork.
