Coolant additive question

Hello all,
On our tractors we would just run a green low silicate coolant, and treat it with a filter that had the sca additive in it. Recently purchased some CNH XHD antifreeze/coolant from my local Case IH dealer. The jug says that it is fully formulated, and no sca additives are needed. So would I get a coolant filter WITHOUT the additives for this fully formulated coolant?

My big concern is that coolant chemistry matches SCA chemistry, if in doubt I would not use a SCA.

But without SCA the coolant needs to be replaced sooner. But many modern coolants (OAT and HOAT) last longer than previously (old IAT) to make up for it.

What is the change interval on the new CNH XHD coolant? I would follow the manufacturer's direction.

Right, I am assuming(the way I read it) is that the coolant already has the SCA additive in it so, don't add anymore!

Yes, they have wet liners.
 
I didn't know what SCA was so I searched and found this, which you'll have already seen

Still don't know exactly what it is or how much, since they don't tell (units are arbitrary) but they say excess might abrade your water pump.

I suppose if you're filtering that'll mostly mitigate that risk.

If it's pre-charged with SCA it should meet ASTM D6210 which you can check. You would then use a blank filter. Monitor SCA levels as usual.
