Wrong Tom, here, but that truck is a Volvo C303. Production was discontinued over 20 years ago.

Those Volvos are very similar to the Pinzgauer. Please do post those pictures.

Too bad they didn't make those with an aluminum body. Cool vehicle!
I was really impressed by the Pinzgauer climbing that rock ledge. You really need the right combination of wheelbase, clearance and carburation to get up an obstacle like that.
My Bronco trail vehicle couldn't do that, even if the carburator didn't flood on the way up (a mass-air efi system is in the long-term plans). In any case, its short wheelbase is just wrong for that obstacle.

The Pinzgauer, Volvo C303, Unimog and the Hummvee are equipped with portal axles, which offer increased ground clearance while allowing smaller differentials.
They really need to design a vehicle that can do something like this: kid goat
