Hi all, I'm In the UK so limited on brands I can get for my Mk7 Toyota Celica.
Iv see. Brands for lower front control arms such as NTY, Maxgear, CTR, Febest and stark.
Going original Toyota is too expensive at £245 per arm and I'm not looking to go with polyurethane ones such as superpro.
So which of the above brands is gonna be most trustworthy or are there other options I can get in the UK?
Rockauto has more brands like mevotech but the delivery cost is insane to the UK so not sure what I can do to get quality arms.

CTR seems like a good choice :)

While you can't use Rock Auto, there are a few good online stores for Europe:
Trodo
Avladi
AK24parts
Autodoc
yes autodoc was the shop i was looking at.
iv never heard of brands like CTR etc so not sure if they any good. usually for my fiesta i would go with lemforder or meyle hd arms which i currently have for the fiesta but these brands are not available for the celica.
i will check those other stores you mentioned

CTR is a Korean OE supplier that claims to supply 1/3 of new cars from the factory with something. Most of CTR's OEM contracts are probably Korean cars.

I see, would CTR be good for my jap car then? Or these control arms going to be at least better than the other brands?
Also who would have made the original parts for Toyota? Or who do Toyota get to make the bushings for them?
I read that for ball joints Toyota have them made by sankie 555 so can get them cheaper if just buying from 555.

Even though they're not the same as OE, they should at least be better than other brands.

I have no idea who the OE supplier was on your Celica.

I am amazed at all the Chinese parts available for everything. Brands you have never heard of. If it takes more than 5 minutes to install or might leave me stranded I am going to try and avoid a Chinese brand I have never heard of. The question is who buys all the Chinese junk?

Example - looking for spare belts for Gravley ZTR. About a $9000 mower new. If you can afford a $9000 mower you can afford Gravley brand belts even if the main belt is $100 vs $50 for a Chinese one. If the mower is for your landscaping business you really don't want downtime during your workday because you saved $50 on a belt.

Some belts do fit Ariens mowers also. More for homeowners.

And there are probably some of the Chinese brands that may be good. But how to tell? Not by Amazon ratings.
