ConsumerGuide Automotive : Classic ads of Oldsmobile Cutlass

The fact that the 84-91 Calais/Cutlass Calais existed and people bought them is mind blowing, really. Especially the late 80s/early 90s models.

Why? I had a few and they rode and drove very nice and the styling looked great inside and out.

They were very popular and the later years were quite reliable. It was the best of both worlds, comfort of a Caddy but in a smaller and more fuel efficient package. The 3.1 V6 was very stout and was used in many other GM vehicles including (but not limited to) Beretta, Z24, Sunbird etc.
