No. Supposed to go behind the AC compressor
I did. I got the usual idiots / scams. Why don't you just put it on Craigslist?
Looks pretty nice, by the way...
I thought the definition for a classic was 25+ years. Perhaps not?Looks like a nice truck but I would not consider it a "Classic".
It is. Dad bought it knowing he would never tow anything, and specifically wanted the 4.3L since it was the V6 version of the 350.On the 5.0L & 5.7L....Yes, But this is a 4.3L V6.
Where could I advertise it at there? You could sell that for $20k up here all day, I’m not exaggerating….they all rusted away years ago and are all considered ‘classics’.

I see it the opposite. Long beds, especially of that era, are hard to find. There have been some posts here on BITOG to support that.If it was a shortbed, it would sell easy. Look into ebay or bringatrailer.
I am using the term based on what TX officially designates. I referenced it above. You're reaching a bit here on a '97 work truck...
Wow, wanted to see pictures of your 1986 Dodge Daytona, and then looked at your signature block that the Daytona is your daily driver.Old doesn't necessarily mean classic. Classic cars tend to have some degree of collectability. My 1986 Dodge Daytona is old, but is far from a classic.
Take a look at bringatrailer dot com. They have many vehicles that have something special. They currently have a 1999 Chevy pickup for sale on their site.I am using the term based on what TX officially designates. I referenced it above.
I am not "reaching' on anything. If you don't like me calling my truck a "classic", that's fine, but its no more than your personal opinion.
I would do that. I am serious. I can drive it anywhere.Bring it to California, sell it for $7K, and fly home. I’m not even totally joking… you should check out what clean GMT400s are going for around here.
Thanks. So gfh, have you run it on Cars.com (free WITH pictures) or Auto Trader ($9 with MANY pictures, I think) yet?
+1 on more pics...especially of the underside being it's so desirable.
Stress the Texasness, straightness, originality, Rust free?, AC works?, rolls down the road nice and quiet?
Did Chevy trucks have an odometer that year? If so, what does it read?
'Tis a RWD? ...long-legged Texas truck? Garage kept?...looks it.
Any idea of asking price?
Advertise it on truck fora.
