What I've noticed with GM trucks is the quality is either really good or really bad. Forums are probably a bad place to try and understand quality issues, but CR and JD Powers are of little value too. It's like either a 5 star or a 1 star. The trucks either work well, or are the biggest pieces of junk out there.

I agree. My Silverado (2012) has been really good. Only issue has been a fuel tank pressure sensor that sets on top of the tank by the pump. $30 from online supplier and installed it myself in about 20 minutes. Fuel tank didn't have to be removed.
