COLORFULL OIL BOTTLES!!! WALMART!!!! HELP!!!!!

I just got back from my Walmart and they are completely stocked up on all brands of regular, high mileage and syn in the new SN version. So many oils, so many colorful bottles, so many decisions. I've been using Pennzoil conventional for a long time and I've always thought about going to a High Mileage oil but didn't like the fact they weren't energy conserving and now Valvoline Nextgen High Mileage is resource conserving, and Mobil Super High Mileage is also resource conserving and Valvolines color scheme is so appealing...LOL I need help...

Meant to add here that the VOA of Val High Mileage nextgen..someone in there stated the lable didn't have resource conserving on the API cert..will it does now.

Choose any in your viscosity grade, it'll make no difference.

I feel your pain, I can't just go in there and and pick some oil, I always run back at least twice and switch brands back and forth even when I'm in a hurry. I feel like a kid in a candy store. My family thinks I am mentally ill.

wow...and I thought I was the only one that did that. In the past I did that a few times..my son was with and thought I was crazy. He's right. Grabbed one brand, walked halfway across the store and made up some B S as to why I had to go back and dickered around with choosing another brand. And yes, I know it makes no diff what brand I use...but it does to me

This is what goes through my freaking mind when I see all the oil bottles..

Castrol GTX HM...I love the green bottle and the paperless lable
Valvoline Nextgen HM...their new green bottle looks tasty.
Valvoline conventional...nostalgia
Mobil's bottles...gray and boring but seem more high tech
Havolines black bottle...boring
Pennzoil conventional...Big Bird, or rubber duck
ST bottles....boring...BIG time boring
That new G oil...please remove that from Walmart.

Advertising agents had a lot of color on oil cans in the 1940 to 1980 era.

When I was a kid I got to see a few. In the 1970's there was non-detergent Raylube, which is the only one I really recall as I used it in a 1952 MG TG. The sludge would seal the oil leaks in that MG. But I found a Web site full of great photos:

Yes....my Walmart has it in quarts...but I'm not purchasing it at $6.37 a quart.

Its been said here on BITOG... that it is now in 5 qt. jugs. I'm looking for those jugs.

I took pictures of oil selections at German grocery stores when I was there over the holidays. They had store brand VW 504/507 oil, I kid you not. It was 50euros for a 5 liter jug.

My walmart has them. They stocked up on them (0w20 and 0w30) literally 2 days after I bought my jug of 5w30.

I cant get enough of oil packaging!! I can just sit there holding a 1qt bottle at the couch and have a good time. I love the pastel green NextGen oil, just awesome!
