The song goes, "coleslaw it ain't nothing but cabbage raw". I love it and I think KFC has one of the best. Applebees here is almost as good.

I like the kfc coleslaw. We never make it, but others are either too sweet or too creamy. I do like the “health slaw” from the local Jewish place...

Broccoli slaw is the best. ;)

I actually like KFC coleslaw. I've tried others and it just tastes too bitter. Raisins can make it more palatable.

Once I bought some preached, bagged coleslaw. It was just chopped cabbage and carrots, but it was like a 3 lb bag. Bought it just as a fried vegetable.

Some years ago, local chef Terry Bryant, gave me his recipe for Carrot-Cayenne Coleslaw, which I make a few times a year. It can be found online.

The other coleslaw that I like is the El Salvadoran "Curtido." While the variations made with cabbage are fairly common, and most like our coleslaw, I frequently prefer the Curtido de Cebolla y Tomate from a recipe obtained from Laylita's.

You might actually be a fool if you purchase it one of the simplest thing to make and cheap.
That's why I make it. Just like putting a salad together. I buy little if any prepaired stuff and make everything from scratch. Atleast I know what's in it.

I buy the tri colored dry slaw you get in a bag at HEB. Dukes mayo, a bit of ranch jalapeno, a bit of apple cider vinegar, and salt to taste. I like it on the creamy side. Love it with shrimp and fries. Do not like the fine cut slaw.
