The car burns oil at about 1 liter per 800-1000 miles while sitting at stoplights or idling for too long.
I went overseas for about 3 weeks, and the car sat. I got back to Japan, and the next day noticed that the car has cold start smoke. It’s white, and smells like oil. I am currently on my second ARX rinse phase, and hoping that the ARX has caused it to start.

Any ideas?

same thing happened to me when the car sat for 2 weeks, I got scared, but it quickly resolved by itself after a few minutes and has not happened since then.

It hasn’t stopped, and it’s been about 4 days or so. When I got to the car to start it, it started amazingly fast. The other people who came back at the same time were cranking, while mine started faster than usual.

Shaman!

Based on your description, it's the valve stem seal problem or could have been worn valve guides.

See if you can get a hold of Suzuki for some parts. Also try replacing the valve stem seal first to see how it goes (your AZ should be a 3cyl? )

Q.

That is very heavy oil use.
I don't know how you pinpoint idle and stoplight time as the cause, yet give running distance as the measurement.

Oil residuals from blowby condense and pool inside the breather hoses once the engine is turned off. When you start up the engine, the collected oil residue will be sucked back into the intake for combustion (recycling). Make sure the breather hoses do not anywhere rest lower than their valve cover outlets, since this will cause increased pooling. If the breather hoses angle upwards from their valve cover outlets, most oil residue should flow back into the valve covers when the engine is turned off.

You likely do lots of stop-and-go city driving, which may result in increased manifold vacuum. This surely increases oil consumption. It's something I notice very much in case of my engine.

I pinpoint idle time as a cause because it only visually smokes when the car has idled. With the normal driving i do, it works out to about 1 liter every 1K miles or so.

Mori, the PCV hoses were replaced with vac hose from O-reilly's, and is curved up, where it should drain into the VC. I picked up a metal PCV valve from an old toyota that was inline with 5/16 fittings. I will replace it in the next few days and see how it goes. Yes, stop and go driving that most Americans couldn't understand. My top speed in the 15 minutes is about 40 mph, and an average speed of about 10.

Quest, it's a 3 cyl, but I can't get anything changed by myself. I can probablu have it done, but for the cost, I could buy a different car, if he PCV valve replacement cost is any indication.
