code 0731

I just got home and wife says the speedometer on her 2000
Caravan 3.3 is erratic and check engine light is on. She had
code read at AZ and it's 0731 Gear one incorrect ratio. Anyone
hear ever get that? Been googling and it might be an input or
output sensor. I figure the best idea is to change those first
before taking more serious action?

I changed the input speed sensor and no luck. Then changed the
output speed sensor and that did the trick. Just in case someone
has the same code/issue on their vehicle.
