When I was replacing the blower motor on Jr's Mazda5 in November, I noticed a bit of seepage near the clutch pedal assembly, at the top where the clutch master cylinder comes through the firewall. I didn't have the motivation to do anything about it at the time - the blower motor just about did me in.
This morning the clutch pedal was very soft. I limped the car into the garage and up onto ramps, and bled a fair bit of air out of the slave cylinder on the transmission housing. The reservoir, which also serves the brakes, was quite low on fluid. I had to get the air out with a large syringe and a piece of vacuum hose.
Anyway, the clutch pedal is firm again, but it's time to order a clutch master cylinder.
Here are the choices from Rock Auto. Please help me decide.
Thanks!
