Clogged Storm Drain - Hydro Jetting?

Once its cleaned out, would a fitting like this, keep larger sticks and leaves out ? You could blow the area clean every month or so, might keep larger stuff out of the pipe. Is your pipe 4 inch ?

If the pressure washer doesn't work, I suggest renting or buying a drain snake drum auger machine.

That is the only thing that will get rid of the tree roots. Hydro jetting will offer temporary relief but won't do a thing for tree roots. The problem is he has plastic corrigated pipe. The power snake will destroy that pipe.

Myself, I don't think he has a root problem with that pipe unless there is an opening for tree roots to enter.

I would entertain the DIY kit given the distance. If that doesn’t work, maybe try a septic company with a jetter setup? $600 an hour ($1200 min) seems steep.

Local guy here charged me $425 last spring. I helped even though it was him and another guy. Took a little over an hour. Pouring rain too. He has a 75 hp Kubota diesel on a pump with 250’ of hose.
