I use a pocket sized flat blade screwdriver (Alexander) to release the clamp & Knipex 10 99 i220 to reinstall. Doesn't really answer your question though.

The pliers in your link don't appear to have rotating jaws??

This is the type of plier that I am referring to:

https://www.amazon.com/Astro-9406F-...mp;psc=1&refRID=88B20NX7ZYJ0BV32WC8H

This is a rarely used tool for me and I would rather not spend $80 for a set of pliers, if possible.

Thanks!

They are priced at $23.00 each on my website.

Yes $23.00 here too..

Sorry for the confusion. I accidentally posted the wrong link. This is the correct one:

https://www.knipex.com/index.php?id...up_detail&parentID=&groupID=2316

Bought a few of those on amazon.de site cheaper a year or so ago. They are very good, but not as versatile as Knipex wants you to believe.

Minus their tax, plus yours, plus modest shipping charge - still better. amazon.co.jp is good for Ko-Ken ratchets and other trinkets from Japan. The same effect: 20 to 50% cheaper than from US resellers.
You can also also keep your eye on the guys from Aachen, there are occasional promo campaigns there as well

Do these work pretty good?

The Knipex ones are ok, but I prefer the Facom DM.CC. They are also sold as MAC DMCC. You can access the clamp from three angles with this type, and they work very well.
