Classic Mini Cooper 2000 or Older?

Does anyone have a Classic Mini Cooper Rover, Morris, Austin model 2000 or older??
What oil use the Mini Cooper Made in England 1275cc???
The manual ONLY say "use an oil 5W-30, but not say MINERAL or SYNTETIC.

The original Mini spec'd 20W-50 in the BMC engine due to the gearbox sharing the oil with the engine but that was back in the 60's and 70's.
If something has changed since then continued production into the 90's. If it says 5W-30 it doesn't matter if you use mineral or synthetic.

If the manual only says 5w30 and does not specify mineral or synthetic, then in my opinion you can use either one.

I have a 1973 1275 A series MG midget which has mostly used Castrol 20W50 oil for past 38years.

In the UK the original Mini now has it;s own oil.

How about this Penzoil 20W50? This is what i'm planning on using on my 1970 Fiat 500 once I get the engine rebuilt.
