Chrysler Pentastar manufacturing video

Like many things now days, no pride in work. Quality control, not there. We've outsourced so many parts that no one knows the failure rate. It's not keeping cost any lower, it's generating higher profit for the manufacturer who then turns around and dumps billions into warranty work. Henry created a monster with the assembly line process.

From the looks of the employment staff I'd say those jobs are nothing more than a paycheck. Stellantis has certainly zapped the enthusiasm from this workforce.

Has there ever been assembly line enthusiasm? Spent a summer on a Ford line in ‘71. Not much attitude difference.
When you pay me a fair wage for working for you I'm always excited and energized. That's the problem with people today they have little pride and no pulse.

I’ve watched videos of AMG engines being built and Toyota being built and this looked a little different. More care seemed to be taken with those two than this video. But I think those two were being built by one person.

You would be the exception, these days or 50 years ago. I’ll never forget the three ladies at the end of the horn line. They sat there with an electric prod testing (honking) each one as they went by. I’d have gone mad.

Yeah I get it....
Most of my family worked for GM..
Almost impossible to get fired
When GM and Chrysler finally left this area those cry babies finally had something to cry about....

I had no sympathy for most. Chronic lazy complainers who found out what the real world had to offer.
