I am a hot sauce addict. I also have high blood pressure so am trying to cut back on sodium intake.
To get the desired spice I have been adding Anaheim Chili peppers to me prepared meals instead of Hot sauce.
Yesterday, after dicing some up, then washing my hands, I scratched an itch under my nose, and withing 30 seconds it started burning, and lasted for 4 hours.
Extremely uncomfortable. Washing the area did nothing.
Short of wearing nitrile/ latex gloves when I prepare the chili's, is there anything that neutralizes the burning agents in peppers?
