Chevron Purescape additive...anyone try it??

I just saw a commercial for it on TV, and its claims make it sound somewhat similar to Lucas UCL or FP60...

They say it improves the combustability of fuel to yield more power without affecting fuel economy...

I can't find any more info on it online, except that currently Chevron's offering a $5 mail-in-rebate per $6 bottle!

I used it on a tank. It didn't kill the mileage (actually a bit more) It won't hurt and the rebate is fast.

I have the rebate form but haven't been able to find the product. Where did you buy it?

I got it at a small chain in this area called "Bridge" I think it was $8.50. I haven't seen it anywhere else.

VIP Has it in the Northeast. I bought two bottles and saw a very modest increase in economy. I would guess about 1/2 mpg. At $2/bottle (with rebate) it was worth it, for $7 I doubt I'll use it.

BTW: The rebate came extremely fast!

I finally found some @ PB. I really don't like to experiment w/fuel additives, but since its a Chevron product I thought it may be worth trying. I currently have it in my Volvo mixed w/14.5 gallons of 87oct. E10 unleaded. I'll reserve my full review until the end of the week.
