Chevrolet's promotions are a joke.

Lots of folks who go there who drive German SUV's. I'd imagine they'd like some of those folks dropping $60k on a Suburban instead of an X5. But, those folks would have to hob-knob with the rabble in the Chevy dealer waiting room while their 'Burb's oil gets changed. Can't have that, now can we!

Skiing anywhere has gotten expensive! Some places are over $100 now for a lift ticket. I like skiing but I like $100 bills more. lol

I'd personally rather go to Gore over WF. Shorter drive and better conditions 99% of the time. Whiteface is fun though

LOL, agreed on preferring Gore to Whiteface! Skied both last year and had more fun at Gore. More fun, less crowded, and cheaper? Win!

Their Why-Not-Wednesdays have gone up in price but they're still a good deal if you can manage to get the day off from work. WF also has "Super Sundays" that are the same price as WNW which are also a good deal.

I do question their marketing decisions...

Heard a radio ad over the weekend, something to the effect of "...bad credit? Bankruptcy? You can drive a Chevy...", from the New England Chevy Dealers Association.

Now this demographic needs good, reliable transportation, but talk about branding.... One sort of hopes that the local association went off alone on this, I'd hate to think this was given the green light at Corporate.

In GM's defense Nissan are the current kings of marketing to poor people who really can't afford new cars.

Its a promotion event, go buy a new C7 and I bet the dealer will slip you a couple of tickets.

That's clearly not the correct way to do it, because a certain percentage of people will never respond, meaning lots of wasted tickets and wasted money.

If they did that, there would be a thread here complaining "I went to this GM event and there was almost no one there. GM is dumb."

^^^Yes, and of course, their beloved Nippon Giant could NEVER do anything 'wrong'.
