Has anyone every used Chegg for textbook rentals? I am considering using them for some textbooks during the summer semester. They would save me considerably on books if used.
I know some people who have used them. They seem to be OK. One benefit of renting the books is that you are not stuck with a full price book because the teacher switched to a different version and the school won't buy back the old version.
You might want to try these places to see if you can buy a book cheaper than you can rent one. Some science and math classes can use older editions. Our college has all the text books on reserve, so I can copy the new problems and use the older text for the information or explanation.
A couple of the guys at work used them. They were very complimentary of the service. Do compare, however, as some things are cheaper to buy used than rent, as Loobed said.
