You should see our shop cost per month for nitrile gloves. It's insanely high. But the shop is required to provide proper protective gear, including gloves.
We have the black kind, boxes of 100, offshore made. They hold up fairly well, except they often tear when working in tight engine areas.
I end up using a lot more in the summertime, because they make your hands sweat like crazy. And who wants to put back on a pair of wet clammy gloves.
A lot of old timers in the shop won't wear em', I don't see why. Washing your hands 20 times per day is a PITA, and having that junk soak into your skin is no bueno.
